Do you know the "source" of this incredible photo?

It is a photo of a full moon rising up over the Potomac taken during early evening on a recent overnight camping trip with my cellphone!

Technology is amazing isn't it?

Many of our listeners have asked us, what does "the Source" mean?  Why do you call yourselves

The Source Radio Network

This is a great question!

Early in 2010, we began broadcasting on radio station WTRI 1520 am in Brunswick and since we already broadcasting on our original station, Thurmont 1450 am and planning to simulcast on the new one, Brunswick 1520 am, we needed a new theme.  Our old theme was WTHU "Where God is WiTHU".  How could we describe God's amazing presence in our lives and add a new radio call sign, WTRI?  We played around with many combinations of the two station call letters, but we couldn't come up with anything.  Then one of our team said: "truthfully, it is a network of two stations, so why don't we call it the "Source Radio Network?"  It was simple and yet brilliant.  Since God is the "source" of everything.....of course He is the source of our "radio network", our new theme was born.

That is why our website contains the following "statement of faith":

And, once made perfect, he became "THE SOURCE" of eternal salvation for all who obey him - Hebrews 5:9

So now, you know the "source" of the photo above and our new theme.

Only the creator of the universe could inspire that portrait!
