Officials

We are very proud to announce that USAC has raised the pay rate and per diem for officials in 2012.  Our officials work very long hours in what are often stressful conditions, and this pay raise reflects the critical role that officials play to create successful events.  Promoters: The new pay rates are very similar to the ACA's pay rates from last year and will not change your expenses dramatically, if at all.

For more info on this pay raise, please click here.

In addition, USAC is providing our officials with a significant discount on uniforms.
All officials in Colorado and eastern Wyoming will receive an email with the details of this discount.
If you have any questions, please contact Yvonne.

Karen Hornbostel Memorial Time Trial Series at Cherry Creek State Park

Note from our Race Director, the Maestro Alan Boisvert of Lima Beans Cycling:

Folks: Registration for the 2012 KHMTT at Cherry Creek State Park is open at Prerace.com.

This year, registration is via a lottery that consists of a two step process.  Step 1 is registering for the lottery.   When you register for the lottery, you will be asked to provide your relevant information and select your preferred start times.  After this registration, you will exit Prerace but will not be charged the entry fee.  You will appear on the roster in a category with an (A), which stands for Applicant.

Step 2: You will receive an email from info@prerace.com offering you a start time.  Follow the link back into Prerace to pay and complete the transaction. You might want to put info@prerace.com in your contact list so your confirmation email doesn't go to your junk folder.

A large number of applicants have requested times between 5:00 and 6:30.
Fewer applicants have requested times between 6:30 and 7:30, thus applicants have a better chance of receiving their preferred start times in the later spots.

Thanks and we look forward to seeing you at the series.

There is no time pressure during registration, so relax, sit back, and

spend your energy in training for this great event.
