Timing System

Please bring your timing chip to all events that use the new timing system - this includes all BAR/BAT events and all KHMTT races.

Please note #1Racers without a chip are at risk of not being scored.

Please note #2: Be aware of approaching the start/finish lines when not racing - your chip can register from 10 feet away from the line!  Listen for officials' directions, as this well help keep the results much cleaner.

Please note #3: You will notice that Yvonne will be checking chips at the start of races.  We are making sure that every chip is firing correctly before your race starts.

Please note #4: Every race in April and May will have two scoring systems in place:

1- our great officials and the finish line camera

2- the new timing system (which will incorporate a finish line camera as well)

Thank you for all your patience and constructive comments as we roll-out this new technology.

Please see the ACA website www.americancycling.org for more information

and photos of proper chip placement.

KHMTT Update from Officials -  All Racers Please Read!!!

1 -- you can NOT warm up in the boat ramp parking lot.
2 -- the Yellow Line rule is in effect -   do NOT cross the yellow line to pass another rider. 3 -- do NOT go to the start tent to look for the official race time -- the official clock will be in the Smoky Hill parking lot, or before the turn in for the boat ramp.
4 -- do NOT stop in the middle of the road and talk to fellow racers -- stay to the right of the cones.  The park is open to all other traffic including boat trailers.  Please be respectful of other park users - we are guests in the park.
