Greetings!
For the last few years we've had pretty mild fall weather. It really seemed as though rough weather was the exception rather than the norm. This year marks the return of a true cross weather to the fall in Colorado. I know some of you may dread it but for many cross racers it has been a great season. There's only a few weeks left so get out while you can! |
| Upcoming Weekend Races
Cross racing returns to Colorado Springs this Saturday with Pike Peak Supercross #2. The weather looks to be warm so don't miss your last chance to do one last warm race.
Sunday is the third and final race of the Green Mountain Sports Series in Golden. You can find pre-registration by clicking here. This venue always seems to provide great courses so make sure to check out what's in store this week.
Next weekend brings us the second Alpha Cross race at the Prairie Center in Brighton on Saturday. It's also the second race of the RRV CX Series on Sunday. This is your last weekend to fine tune your racing before states so plan on making the most of it. |

User Website- Finally
After months of work and talk the public can finally see a change in the ACA website. We hope it is an improvement for everyone. We still have a lot of archived material to migrate over. This includes old results, BAR/BAT, BCR/BCT and newsletters.
The license renewal application is working and seems to be working well. However, we are working on the final integration piece, getting all of our transactions properly downloaded into our accounting software. Several people have run through the renewal process and found it very fast and easy. Look for this to be enabled by the end of the week or early next week. Unfortunately, this will not be available to officials and non-racers for another few weeks.
One MAJOR note with renewing your license online: Club changes take place IMMEDIATELY. If you are currently racing cross, renew your license and change clubs for 2010, that club will appear for the remainder of the cross races you are doing. If you are racing cross it is highly advised that you do not renew your license until the cross season has ended.

Annual Meeting
The annual meeting will take place on Sunday December 6th at Natural Grocers / Vitamin Cottage in Lakewood. Packets containing all the pertinent info have been mailed to club representatives. These documents will also be available online on the new site under Special Events-> Annual Meeting -> 2009 Meeting.
Feel free to contact the staff or board if you have any questions.

Office Partner
The ACA is looking for someone to share office space with us. We have a great location at 19th and Pearl in Boulder. We have an 8'X10' room that needs to be occupied to help offset our lease. $250/month, includes utilities. Open December 1st. Contact execdir@americancycling.org if interested. |
- DO NOT FORGET that your 2009 cyclocross racing age is essentially your 2010 road racing age. This is designed to be in line with USAC/UCI regulations regarding cyclocross age. |
That's all for now, see you at the races,
