Greetings!

Cross season is rolling right along.  It always seems to amaze me how dedicated many of our cross racers are. The sport has really made substantial progress over the past decade. The level of balanced enthusiasm that many racers have brings a smile to my face.

If you haven't tried cross yet, give it a shot. You'll be glad you did!
Upcoming Weekend Races

Random CX
Try something different this weekend at the Colorado Veldrijden Crusade. It's not your average course, it's a 10 mile loop. Give it a shot and see what you think.

Sunday brings the second race in the Boulder Racing Series. This is one some people wait all year for, the race on grass at Interlocken.

There is good cross weather in the forecast for the weekend, don't miss it!

Next weekend has BCR/BCT competition back with Valmont Bike Park Ground Breaking Cross on Saturday and RRV Cross Series on Sunday. Don't forget the Valmont race is a fundraiser for the world class bike park that is currently under construction. Also note the location for the RRV races, these are not the same races as the Red Rocks races of the past few years.
Race Surveys

If you raced any of the following races, please take a very short survey for that event by visiting the link below.
Junior Cross Camp JR wmn WOT
Junior Cross Camp was held last weekend at Alexander Dawson School in Lafayette. I would like to extend thanks to Clint Bickmore and Ann Trombley for heading up the camp organization, without them camp would not have happened. Next up are the parents and coaches that helped keep the weekend rolling. These include local stars Danny Summerhill and Brady Kappius. Finally I would like to thank the juniors for coming out and having fun on their bikes, it's what keeps our sport going and growing!
Notes From Yvonne
Your Membership Coordinator

If you know someone who is planning on purchasing a license for cross season, don't let them wait. Just like road season they will not be available at races. Make sure you and your friends have your license before the first race you plan on attending.

- DO NOT FORGET that your 2009 cyclocross racing age is essentially your 2010 road racing age. This is designed to be in line with USAC/UCI regulations regarding cyclocross age.
That's all for now, see you at the races,
