We're well into the second half of the racing season. We've had a lot of good events so far. The month of August is packed full of good racing culminating with the Steamboat Stage Race on Labor Day weekend. Don't miss some of the great events coming up.

Upcoming Weekend Races 
The Salida Omnium Salida Omnium is back for another year. The road race is the 2009 Senior and Master Road Race Championships. Registration for the omnium, RR and TT is available ONLINE ONLY by clicking here. Please keep in mind that online registration closes **TODAY** Wednesday July 29th at 6:00PM. DO NOT miss this deadline and register now!

 There are still a few CSP Training Series races left on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Colorado State Patrol course on Table Mountain in Golden. Scholarships from The Just Go Harder Foundation are available for the junior entry fee.

BCR/BCT
The ACA Board of Directors is currently working on updating the BCR/BCT policy. The Board is currently voting on the policy. Applications for BCR/BCT status will go out to promoters on August 4th and they will be due back before August 11th. Based on the applicaitons recieved and the enw policy, the Board will then decide the schedule at their meeting on August 17th. Look for BCR/BCT schedule to be posted shortly afterwards.

Schedule Update
The Summers End Road Race that was scheduled for August 22nd has been cancelled. Also, don't forget that the Koppenburg Circuit has been rescheduled for August 30th. Cross your fingers that this race finally gets some good weather.

A few closing notes:
-If you know someone racing cross only, make sure to have them purchase their license now to avoid one day fees at their first cross race.
-Anyone who forgot to pick up their State Championship medal or vest can contact Yvonne Van Gent to arrange a pick-up. |
