Greetings!

It's been a great first few months of racing here in Colorado. We've had some really great races so far and many great events to come. Read on for some more information.
Upcoming Weekend Races Random Bike photo

This weekend brings the Western Slope Omnium with a TT, Road Race and Criterium.

The Leg Breaker Time Trial starts the weekend on Friday evening, it is preregistration only and it closes Thursday at noon. Stop and register here if you're planning on racing. Saturday is the Rock The River Road Race along the Colorado River Road in Dotsero. You can find registration here, fields are filling fast so get in while you can!  Don't forget this is the Junior State Road Race Championships. Finally, Sunday is the Glenwood Springs Criterium on fast, fun and technical course. As long as you're registering for race sign up here for the criterium.

Next weekend brings us the Mike Horgan Hill Climb on Saturday. You can find online registration by Clicking Here. Don't miss this epic battle on some of the steeper roads in the state. Sunday the 21st is the Halo Time Trial in Evergreen. This course is also known as the Upper Bear Creek TT course that has been used in the past. It's a fun race and you can find registration right here.

Mid-Week Races

During this time of year there are also some fantastic mid-week races to keep your legs open and race ready for the weekends.

The CSP Training Series takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Colorado State Patrol course on Table Mountain in Golden. Scholarships from The Just Go Harder Foundation are available for the junior entry fee.

Also, on just about every Wednesday you can race the Boulder Time Trial Series. Register online, park in north boulder and ride to the start for a warm up. You'll need it for the challenging course from Lyons back to Boulder.

Race Results

Something of note from our officials to follow up on our registration tips from the last issue:

1. Ask at registration before your race an know where results will be posted, it saves time after your race is done and you're beat.

2. Once results are posted, riders have a 15 minute on-site protest period. There are no web protests allowed unless it's a data entry mistake.

3. If you need to protest, bring your race number with you and some paper and a pen as protests must be in writing. This really helps speed up resolution process.

4. Most importantly, if you care about your result, don't forget to check them before the protest period expires!!

A few closing notes:

-We have some races coming up that do not have on-site registration AND have a tendancy to fill. If you want to race make sure to get it done for the following races:

 See you at the races,
