This month we also launch our latest Bhodi Stone Ritual. The Bhodi (pronounced Boh-Dee) Stone is mushroom-shaped Stone, hand carved from a single piece of Oriental Jade. The unique Bhodi Stone can be used in two ways; as a single or dual stone massage or to replace handwork and relieve wrist pressure during deep tissue massage. Once warmed, the Bhodi Stone has the ability to hold warmth for extended periods of time.

 Stone Therapy
Stones have been used as healing tools for over 5000 years and now you can embrace this ancient healing technique.
Victoria's Essentials is pleased to launch the complete range of Massage Stones handcrafted in Australia by Stone Eagle. Each set is designed by therapists to deliver the ultimate in hot and cold Stone Therapy. The natural beauty of each stone is gently coaxed from its primitive form to become a visual and tactile art form. Eleven progressive steps are needed to achieve the sturdy organic shapes and required finish, many of these stones take a full day to complete.
Stone therapy has become a regular treatment on many Spa Menus as clients enjoy the benefits of these timeless stones and their rejuvenating properties.

The BΘDHI Stone Ritual
The word BΘDHI (Sanskrit: बोधि) means enlightenment or awakening.
The BΘDHI Stone, a one-piece, hand carved Oriental Jade stone is shaped like the Indian BΘDHI Tree. This shape was chosen for its simplicity and ease of use during a Stone massage, therefore making treatments more effective with much less wrist strain. The BΘDHI Stone may be used on its own (hot or cold) or as part of the BΘDHI Stone Ritual.
 The BΘDHI Ritual uses two stones dipped in our warm Rice based BΘDHI Massage Oil designed to improves circulation and allow the stone glide like silk over the skin, leaving a pleasant and relaxing aroma.
The BΘDHI Stone may be purchased either as a Ritual Set or separately.

Balinese Ritual
This month we highlight our Jamu Royal Balinese Ritual. Jamu is known as a Traditional medicine in Indonesia. For over 1,300 years, Indonesian families have handed down recipes, often keeping the exact recipes a family secret. Though heavily influenced by Indian Ayurvedic principles, Indonesia is a vast Archipelago with numerous indigenous plants not found in India, and include plants similar to those found in Australia.
The principle of Jamu is to use fresh local herbs, spices and botanicals to work in synergy with the body to warm the muscles and promote circulation, to harmonise the body and relax the mind. Local villages take pride in sourcing fresh ingredients, grinding and blending these aromatics according to age-old recipes and many treatments are used for health, beauty and rituals, including wedding ceremonies.
Our Jamu Royal Balinese Ritual begins with a Mangir Face & Body Scrub. This gentle and fragrant blend of botanicals, spice and herbs smooths and cleanses the body in preparation for the Boreh Body Wrap, a Traditional Treatment used for centuries to draw out impurities, stimulate blood circulation, warm the body and promote overall wellness. It contains a traditional combination of Babakan Cacil, Kencur, Ginger, Clove and Nutmeg to provide a mild warming sensation as it dries and the herbal aroma is released.
Our Royal Balinese Bath Milk is rich in Full Cream Milk, Mineral Salts and Crystal ION 120 blended with our Traditional Balinese Essential Oil Blend for an unforgettable bathing experience.
To complete the Ritual, the body is lightly moisturised with our Wild Java Moisturiser. Formulated to re-hydrate, nourish and protect the skin from over-exposure to the elements, our Natural Body Moisturiser is infused combination of Olive Oil, Sweet Almond Oil and an aromatic blend of Essential Oils.
