CASN participates in meetings with Indonesia
The Government of Indonesia is currently preparing a new system for the accreditation of health professional education, including medicine, dentistry, nursing and midwifery. To help with this endeavor, the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN) was pleased to meet with representatives from the Indonesian National Nurses Association, the Indonesian Nursing Education Institutions Association and Indonesia's Ministry of National Education July 27-28, 2010 to discuss the best practices in ensuring continuous quality improvement in nursing education programs. Le gouvernement de l'Indonésie prépare actuellement un nouveau système d'agrément des programmes d'enseignement des professions de la santé, soit la médecine, la dentisterie, les sciences infirmières et la profession de sage-femme. L'Association canadienne des écoles de sciences infirmières (ACESI) a été heureuse de l'aider dans cette entreprise. À cette fin, des responsables de celle-ci ont rencontré, les 27 et 28 juillet derniers, des représentants de l'association nationale des infirmières et infirmiers de l'Indonésie, de l'association indonésienne des écoles de sciences infirmières et du ministère de l'Éducation nationale de l'Indonésie pour discuter des pratiques exemplaires visant à assurer l'amélioration continue de la qualité des programmes d'enseignement en sciences infirmières. THE FRSQ ANNOUNCES ITS SECOND ROUND
OF TRAINING AWARD OFFERS
Montréal, August 10, 2010 - Today the FRSQ announced its second round of training award offers. The awardee list is posted on its Web site at: www.frsq.gouv.qc.ca (in French).
Last April, the FRSQ changed its procedure for career award and training award offers, which are now divided into two separate rounds and, by extension, two separate announcements.
