CASN participates in meetings with Indonesia
The Government of Indonesia is currently preparing a new system for the accreditation of health professional education, including medicine, dentistry, nursing and midwifery. To help with this endeavor, the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN) was pleased to meet with representatives from the Indonesian National Nurses Association, the Indonesian Nursing Education Institutions Association and Indonesia's Ministry of National Education July 27-28, 2010 to discuss the best practices in ensuring continuous quality improvement in nursing education programs. Le gouvernement de l'Indon�sie pr�pare actuellement un nouveau syst�me d'agr�ment des programmes d'enseignement des professions de la sant�, soit la m�decine, la dentisterie, les sciences infirmi�res et la profession de sage-femme. L'Association canadienne des �coles de sciences infirmi�res (ACESI) a �t� heureuse de l'aider dans cette entreprise. � cette fin, des responsables de celle-ci ont rencontr�, les 27 et 28 juillet derniers, des repr�sentants de l'association nationale des infirmi�res et infirmiers de l'Indon�sie, de l'association indon�sienne des �coles de sciences infirmi�res et du minist�re de l'�ducation nationale de l'Indon�sie pour discuter des pratiques exemplaires visant � assurer l'am�lioration continue de la qualit� des programmes d'enseignement en sciences infirmi�res. THE FRSQ ANNOUNCES ITS SECOND ROUND
OF TRAINING AWARD OFFERS
Montr�al, August 10, 2010 - Today the FRSQ announced its second round of training award offers. The awardee list is posted on its Web site at: www.frsq.gouv.qc.ca (in French).
Last April, the FRSQ changed its procedure for career award and training award offers, which are now divided into two separate rounds and, by extension, two separate announcements.
