Reviewers needed for CASN Accreditation Program
The CASN Accreditation Program is expanding and many reviews of undergraduate nursing educational units and programs are scheduled over the next 5 years. We will need experienced and trained reviewers to review the self-evaluation reports of schools and to visit their sites.
Évaluatrices et Évaluateur demandés pour le programme d'agrément de l'ACESI
Le programme d'agrément de l'ACESI prend de l'expansion et de nombreuses évaluations d'unités et de programmes d'études de premier cycle en sciences infirmières sont prévues au cours des cinq prochaines années. Bon nombre d'autres évaluatrices expérimentées et qualifiées seront nécessaires pour examiner les rapports d'auto-évaluation des écoles et pour effectuer des visites aux différents sites des écoles.

Request for Information from Red River College
Dear CASN member: I am in the process of gathering information for purposes of reviewing our college's grade appeal policy. I have three very straightforward questions that I would appreciate your answering. The three questions are: 1 - Approximately how many undergraduate nursing students do you have at your institution? 2 - On average, how many formal grade appeals would undergraduate nursing students file in relation to nursing courses in a year? 3 - Of those, how many would be for a failure in clinical nursing practice course? I am meeting with the committee on July 2nd, so a response by then would be very helpful. Please forward your response to kwall@rrc.mb.ca Thank you so much for taking the time to do this.
