Greetings!
 If you live anywhere but Central Alberta you would probably think about your first rounds of the year in the next week or so, not so at the Royal Ponoka Golf Club! Best case scenario we are likely 3 weeks away from playing and hopefully 2 weeks for driving range. Although the restaurant will open on a limited menu of approximately 12 of your favorite items for lunch on April 18th (11am-2pm Monday- Friday) and full menu on May 2nd. We are currently doing indoor lessons if you would like to get a jump start on the season, my right and left hand man (Ryan Moore) and myself are available to give you a hand. Fees, tournament dates, food menus, league information, online booking and handicapping links are found. Also a Members only section which will hold Executive minutes and club financials and you can access by clicking on the login button on the top right of screen user name- pcgc and password- pcgc2011 and click on Members Club icon once you have logged in. Scroll down to the Divots section for up to the minute updates for notifications of tournament cancelations due to inclement weather, frost delays ect, to save a call into the proshop. Ponoka Golf Club functions
Anyone playing in golf functions this year will be required to pay the entry in advance of the tournament date. This is important for a number of reasons
- to ensure your spot in the tournament.
- so we can prepare properly for the number of entrants in advance of the tournament ie.food and beverage requirements and prizes.
- frees up staff to look after tournament details and look after needs of participants.
- better accounting procedures for money collected.
