| Rotary Definition | |
Rotary is an organization of business and professional persons united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build good will and peace in the world. |
| Our Mission | |
"Doing good in the World is more than a motto. It is our goal, our mission, and our reminder. It expresses in the clearest terms why we have a Foundation, and it challenges us to reach as far as we can to do the most good possible with everything we have. Our Foundation exisits to support the good that we can do through Rotary. It expands our reach, increases our strength, and makes our service more powerful and more effective. Because of our Foundation we can, very simple, do more of our Rotary work."
2004-2005

PROGRAM: MOCK TOUR OF ST. JOSEPH'S HOSPITAL | | |
Peggy Sebastian and Amy Stephan welcomed Rotarians to their mock rooms located in the WalMart Plaza Center. These rooms were designed to allow the staff and community to have full imput into the function and design of the room and allows for multiple vendors to bring in their equipment for review.
The staff at St. Joseph's Hospital has been in numerous times suggesting changes to allow for the functionality and comfortability for the staff and the families. They are considering everything from location of outlets, to technology, to nursing areas, family areas, rails to the restrooms, etc. Some of the most exciting improvements are to the technology as each room will be equipped with its own technology, reducing the need to transport equipment for the nursing staff. In the OR there is new communication technology to allow for family members to be continuously updated on progress of surgeries and to keep the medical charts up to date moment by moment. Amy has brochures available with further detailed information, but from first view we have a hospital to be very proud of and one that will continue to be the front runner in medical services and patient care.
Below are some photos from the mock tour.
