Art, Terry, and Anne Marie

Art Schutz shared that there has been an activity since 1872 in the form of an Ag Fair or a Horse Show on the property.  This year they are bringing back Highland Day on Thursday, revamped the Craft Fair adding tables, and added a horse show on Saturday.

Anne Marie was introduced as this year Madison County Queen.  She is orginally from Chicago (Sox fan) but moved to Madison County when she was 10 and really fell in love with the area.  She rides horse and plans to be going to William Woods in the fall to major in pre-vet with a minor in equestrian science.  As Queen she will attend all the Fair activities and varies community events throughout the year.  She will compete in Jan 2010 for Miss Illinois.
