Leaps of Love!

Traci established Leaps of Love, to "embrace families affected by childhood cancer by providing resources of hope, strength and encouragement to meet the challenges they face during the battle as well as the long-term effects that continue or present themselves in the future."  The organization focuses on 'Late Effects', which is a chronic or late-occuring medical condition that persists or develops because of the cancer or its treatment.  More than 2/3rds of young adult survivors of childhood cancer will experience at least one 'late effect' if not more.

Her organization covers 2 Regions.  Her office is located at the Highland Chamber Office.  The other region is the River City Region, in Hannibal, MO.  The organizations set up different retreats to provide tools for coping and living and provides contacts for social and emotional support.  After listening to her presentation, you can feel how emotionally Traci is connected to her organization and how much care and effort and time she has devoted to her clients.
