Today's meeting was opened by our President, Jennifer Whitten, and she led us in prayer.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
 *Adrian Rogier announced that it was time for all sustaining members to pay $100 to him.  Make checks payable to Rotary Foundation.  The following are a list of those people that have yet to pay their money:

 - Group 2 - Mark Reaka
 
*A reminder that next week's Steak Fry is going to be held during our NOON meeting at the Pistal Club.
 
*Everyone should have their Car Raffle tickets and be selling.  If not, please contact Linda Jakel to get your tickets!  Also, we will be selling tickets at the Markt und Mehr on Thursday from 4-8pm.  Please signe up for a shift.
 
*Golf Tournament is next Friday, June 18th.  Mark is still looking for help from 12-4pm.
COMMUNITY SERVICE - David Daiber
We have now have 4815.4 hours  - remember we have a goal of 10,000.  If you've been holding back on reporting your service hours, now's the time to get them in!

Hard Road Theaters - Can use help June 24th-27th selling and taking tickets.

*SIUE is emphasizing the "E" for Excellence.
*30-40 Freshman, every year come from Highland High School.
*In 2009, their enrollment was 13,940.
*Their Student Faculty Ratio is 16/1
*3500 Residents live on Campus.
*3300 students live in the surrounding Edwardsville areas.
*30% of enrollees have a 25 or higher on their ACT scores.
*SIUE was named one of the 77, up and coming universities in the United States.
