ANNOUNCEMENTS
 
 *Adrian Rogier announced that it was time for all sustaining members to pay $100 to him.  Make checks payable to Rotary Foundation.  The following are a list of each group, in case you forgot. 
 - Group 1 - Bill Sullivan, Lisa Hunsche, Terry Leitshuh, Rich Knebel, Len Daiber, Jennifer Whitten, Bob Luitjohan, Angie Fears, Mike Gould, and Linnda Jakel.

* Please keep Dave Rehkemper in your thoughts and prayers.  He has been admitted to St. Joseph's Hospital, but isn't up for visitors.
 
*Pregnancy Care Center is sponsoring a Free film Screening on May 15th from 6:30-8pm - Sarah's Choice.
 
*Our Rotary Scholarship winner is Mallory Frey.
 
*Patti Burdet at Chrichton Elementary said that they won the "Battle of the Books" for the first time in 17 years.  They are Greenbriar County champs!
COMMUNITY SERVICE - David Daiber
We have now have 4604.9 hours  - remember we have a goal of 10,000.  If you've been holding back on reporting your service hours, now's the time to get them in!
Upcoming service opportunities:  
 
 Pregnancy Care Center is looking for a committee chair to help with the PCC Walk/Run for Life.  Contact Carrie Adolph if you can help.
 
Be sure and let David Daiber know all the service hours you put in...remember we have a goal of 10,000 hours. To find out more info on any of the above areas to volunteer contact David Daiber.

Kyle is new to the office, as he began his position 12 weeks ago.  He was born and raised and now lives in Wood River, Il.  He graduated from SIUE with honors.  He has a wife and three children, and he was the youngest member of the Wood River City Council and served for the last 7 years.
 
 
The county's recorder's office is responsible for recording all legal documents transferring Real estate.  They have vaulted records dating back to 1812.  They record only original documents, either by mail or in person.  After the originals are scanned , they then get mailed back to the owner.  Some items include plats, mortgages, UCC filings, corporate financials, deeds, subdivision plats and Discharge orders.
