Community Counseling

The Community Counseling Center has two programs available.  The first is Senior Services program, which helps seniors facing loss of family and friends, maintaining and affording housing, facing fears of running out of money and independence, Dementia, Depression, and other medical problems.  This program is available to all Madison County residents that are 60+yrs of age.  All services are provided in the privacy of the home and are free of charge.

The second program is Caregiver Counseling, which helps caregivers deal with the stress and burnout of caring for a loved one.  This program can help anyone that cares for someone 24/7 with no breaks, has dementia or incontinence.  Also, the program helps those caregivers who are having financial problems, poor health themselves, and dealing with family disagreements over care giving.

Both programs partner with many other programs to provide as much help as possible.  These other programs include Meals-on Wheels, the Senior Renewal program at the hospital, and many more.
