Cathleen Gutting - Mind's Eye

Mind's Eye is a radio station in Belleville.  It is a non for profit, radio reading service for those that are blind or visually impaired.  It is a free service, as long as a doctor is willing to sign off on the medical reason.  The service helps those that can not read, due to a visual ailment, read anything from newspaper articles, retail ads, books, etc.  They strive to be the "window to the world" for their clients.  Mind's eye is completely funded by tax deductible donations. Over 180 volunteers come in and read and help produce the programs.  Mind's Eye only has 4 full time and 5 part time staff members.  They transmit 24/7 and schedule their programs based upon what their listeners request.  You can visit their website, www.mindseyeradio.org if you would like more information for someone you now, or would like to volunteer your time reading or helping out.
