ANNOUNCEMENTS

HACSM - Since HACSM is in need of not only food, but also school supplies, we are now going to have 2 donation drives, which are as follows:
August 11th, Our NEXT MEETING, School Supply Drive - Items especially needed:  pocket folders, pencils, washable markers, dry-erase markers, highlighters, glue, erasers, little scissors, calculators 10-digit (TI-30XA), three-ring binders, backpacks, facial tissue, ands Clorox Wipes.   They do not need crayons or college-lined paper
August 25 - Food Drive

Rotary Dues 101 - Since we have so many new faces, we thought it would be helpful to explain what makes up the $31 quarterly dues.  Of those funds, about $17 goes to Rotary International, about $8 goes to Rotary District #6460 and $6 goes to the Highland Rotary.  Rotary International is higher because they factor in the monthly magazine and have a smaller general liability insurance on our club.   Also, the meal portion of your bill is based on $9 per meal at the number of Tuesday meetings that fall in that quarter.  That is the amount  we pay Michael's per person.  If you should see a credit on your bill for make-ups, you are given a $9 discount per make up since you most likely had to pay at another Rotary's club's meeting.  Occasionally we have special events that you might attend and those will show as separate line items.  Any time you have questions about your bill or your balance, please feel free to contact Maura
Donnelly @ 654-7033 or donnellym@terra-properties.com.

Prayer Request - Please keep Howard Robertson in your prayers as he is in the hospital.
