PROGRAM

Jennifer Whitten - The Whitten Regime

01-03-09 Holli Martin

Wayne Steiner opened the program by officially swearing in the 2009-2010 board members.  After that, Jennifer Whitten introduced herself and set forth her goals for the year.  Jennifer has served on Rotary for four years.  She is currently VP of Risk Management at the Korte Company.  She is the daughter  of Jim & Kaye Plocher, her husband is Tim Whitten and she has 2 children, Samantha (12) and Lucas (10).

Rotary's Theme for the 2009-2010 year is "The Future of Rotary is in your hands."  Jennifer's goals for the year include getting the Troy Rotary Club up and running, increase membership from 75 members to 82.5 members, complete a 2nd well in Dick Beckmann's honor, help Elba's Orphan's for our International Project, and is looking to fulfill a long term commitment, which could possibly be replacing the auditorium seating out at the Highland Grade School.
