Our party was graced with numerous Rotary partners along with Missouri Smith and his guest (she went by the name Holly Daze - hmmmm) from the Murder Mystery Players.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Don't forget when you are out Christmas shopping to pick something up for our Literacy Project. The project is with Crichton, West Virginia Elementary School. Briefly, the program entails our club sending money and supplies to the school so they can restart and enhance an Accelerated Reading Program. The program will involve students reading books and then taking short quizzes on the books in order to win incentive prizes. We need Rotarians to donate the following items: all types of balls, ball gloves and bats, wiffle ball sets, tennis equipment, jump ropes, teddy bears or other "soft stuffed" animals, sport shirts (keep it simple - T-shirts for children and remember these kids are in West Virginia.)

We also need any type of age appropriate book (ages 4 thru 12). The school would prefer books already listed on Accelerated Reader Book Lists. Just google Accelerated Reader Book Lists and you'll find unlimited items. However, don't limit your books to these lists, they are also simply in need of books to fill up the library and replace torn and tattered books.

The goal is to have the items ready for delivery by March 1. Please bring items to Rotary Meetings or to Angela Kim at the Highland Public Library or to Maura Donnelly at Terra Properties. If you have any questions contact Bill Sullivan, Wayne Steiner, Terry Leitschuh, Jennifer Whitten, Holli Martin or Angela Kim.

It was our annual Christmas party...if you didn't come you missed a really good time.  It was a murder mystery dinner at the VFW with fine food from Farmer's Restaurant.  I had no idea we had so many talented Rotarian actors!
