Eugene and I just got home from Baton Rouge, LA where we joined the Billy Graham Evangelistic Team [BG] for their "Rock The River Tour". It is a brand new extension of their outreach to students and will visit 6 cities in the next 7 weeks.
We met with numerous members of the BG team and were amazed at their professionalism, godliness, and attention to detail. They are truly an amazing machine!! How exciting for me to be submerged in a group of people that have the same compulsion to reach the lost as I do. It felt like heaven on earth.
Billy's crusade coordinator of 30 years offered to attend one of our crusades to critique and improve our work. I am thrilled by his willingness to invest his life into our work and ministry.
I was also invited to be on their youth advisory team. It is a group of about 6 young men-evangelists and pastors who meets with and helps the team several times a year. I feel very blessed and honored to be invited.
Another very exciting opportunity has opened for us. On Aug 14, I will be a guest on TBN's "Praise the Lord" television program. Ronnie Milsap (country artist), Marie Osmond, and one other guest will be on the show. Jason Crabb, one of the greatest worship leaders in the nation, will be the host. Please pray for God to use this opportunity to reach tens of thousands for Christ. There are countless people in many countries and nations who regularly watch the show. This could be a great catalyst for them coming to know Christ as Savior.
The show will be taped 3 days prior on Aug 11. I will send out a update before leaving, but please begin praying for me and the other guests to be used to impact multitudes.
This Sunday I'm preaching in Grand Prairie, TX (a suburb of Dallas). Please remember to ask God to anoint me and bring conviction and brokenness.
