I've been a little slow with updates due to travel and publishing our quarterly newsletter, please forgive me.
 
These last few weeks have brought many into the kingdom! I have been to Houston and Florida and we have seen a bounty of souls come to Christ. One of the most dramatic conversions I have ever seen took place in Houston. A woman with a real past came forward and in a soul wrenching, agony filled voice cried out for salvation. Joe Simmons, who helps our ministry and has traveled with a famous evangelist preaching to hundreds of thousands said, "I have never heard anything like it". He's a pretty salty guy that doesn't get allow much to get to him. However, his eyes were "sweating-big time".
 
Last week in Florida a girl was saved and baptized. The day she got home, she was involved in a car wreck that broke 2 collarbones, 3 ribs, punctured both lungs and left her femur sticking out of her skin. Her name is Kristen. My wife and kids got to know her fairly well. Remember her in your prayers!
 
This Sunday I will preach at First Baptist Church in Wichita Falls. It is always a great blessing to preach here but I also feel a tremendous weight because it's my church home. Of all the places someone wants to be effective, it is among his own family.  I hope you will remember me in your prayers as I preach both morning services.
 
The first of next week I will be sending out a CRUCIAL e mail. It is diametrically different from what you normally receive from me but extremely personal and important.
