RSVP for Inauguration Cornell will soon inaugurate Jonathan Brand as its 15th president. The weekend of April 20-22 will be filled with events that showcase the college's beautiful campus and brilliant students, along with bringing hundreds of alumni and friends of the college to King Chapel on April 21 for the installation ceremony. Ault retiring after 50 years

 Professor Bob Black remembered Dozens of colleagues and former students have posted their memories of Bob Black, emeritus professor of biology and longtime assistant men's basketball coach, since his death Jan. 13. You can do the same here. |
 Barron Bremner, 1936-2012 The Cornell College community has lost a giant in the death of Barron Bremner, whose 42-year career at Cornell and Coe colleges touched the lives of thousands of students. Bremner filled numerous roles on campus, from coach to assistant professor, from dean of men to athletics director, and from assistant to the president to vice-president for college advancement. 5 to wrestling nationals
Cornell sent five wrestlers to the NCAA Championships on March 9 and 10. Seniors Michael Buhr and Joe Hambleton and sophomore Alex Coolidge each wound up one win shy of gaining all-American honors. Read more...

All-America accolade
Senior Tyler Bailey was selected for the Beyond Sports College Network All-American Football Team. The three-year starter and 2011 team captain was honored on the second team defense at linebacker. Read more...

Baynard named scientist of the year

The New York Times praised Joseph Curnutte '04's writing and acting in "Samuel & Alasdair: A Personal History of the Robot War." Curnutte co-wrote the play and co-stars as radio host and voice actor. Read more...

Homecoming 2012: See what's new! Homecoming is Oct. 5-7 and features a re-energized format. New programming includes Friday night's all-alumni kick-off reception and buffet in the Sport Center, academic department gatherings on Saturday morning, and class reunion parties throughout campus and Mount Vernon Saturday night.
