Greetings!
Happy 2012! The turning of the calendar always brings a sense of renewed energy for many and FFCDC is no exception. As you are reading this newsletter, we are busy planning our Executive Director's, Lorry Herdeen, year long retirement tribute, preparing to  launch a fabulous campaign featuring our infant program, and will host new events that are sure to be enjoyable for both our supporters and families. Whew - this is just the start of what will be a fantastic year!

This year, the Development Department has made  communications with our supporters a high priority.  We are excited to share with you the inaugural monthly e-newsletter. Each newsletter will have a main topic of interest accompanied by news from the Centers, photos of the children and upcoming events. We are always interested in knowing what is important to you, so let us know what you think of this issue. I welcome your suggestions, and remember, my door is always open for a visit,

Holidays Made Special for Children and Families!
Holiday time at FFCDC is magical. So often we learn of families we serve struggling to provide for their children's basic needs, gifts and parties are the last thing on their minds. Regardless of the holiday you celebrate, you can't help but smile, maybe even tear up, when you see the joy on the faces of the children when some one steps forward and gives them a traditional holiday experience by "adopting" their family or classroom.
