Blast into Screenprinting! with Alan Lerner
Sundays, January 15 - March 4, 2012 8 weeks, 12noon - 3pm $285 ($50 deposit required to hold a place in the class)
Description: This course engages color in an immediate way with this overview of the screenprinting process. Photo processes will be covered, as well as all you need to know about ink preparation, registration and pulling awesome prints. Appropriate for all levels of experience, from beginner to advanced.

_________________________________________________________ Traditional Etchingwith Duffy O'Connor Thursdays, January 26 - March 29, 2012 10 weeks, 6 - 9pm $300 ($50 deposit required) Description: This hugely popular course in traditional intaglio printmaking is back! Etching techniques of line, aquatint and softground using zinc or copper plates will be covered. Appropriate for all levels of experience, from beginner to advanced.  _______________________________________________________ Sweet Relief -Woodcut, Linocut and More!with Duffy O'ConnorThursdays, May 10 - June 14, 2012 6 weeks, 6 - 9pm $225 ($50 deposit required) Description: The basics of relief printing with linoleum and wood plates will be covered, as well as more advanced techniques like reductive color printing and creative approaches to working with stencils and collage. Proper use of gouges and woodcutting tools will be taught, and prints will be produced both by hand and press.  woodcut by Duffy O'Connor ______________________________________________________ And...it's not too early to sign up for our very popular summer Etching Bootcamp - a week long INTENSIVE with Duffy O'ConnorMonday - Friday, July 9 - 13, 2012 9:30am - 3:30pm daily (w/ additional work time available Saturday, July 14) $600 ($100 deposit required) Description: This hugely popular week-long course in traditional intaglio printmaking is back! Etching techniques of line, aquatint and softground using zinc or copper plates will be covered. Direct intaglio techniques such as drypoint and engraving will also be addressed. The instruction will be flexible to accommodate beginners as well as experienced printmakers who would like to refresh their etching and printing skills. Students will explore black and white as well as color imagery.
