Dr. Seuss sure knew how to combine words, rhymes and rhythms in ways that delight children. Young readers, and not so young readers, return to his books again and again. Too many young readers and their families, though, need those of us who have received the gift of literacy to connect them with all kinds of books, to share bookjoy. Literacy is essential in our democracy. Who's going to do the creative sharing? YOU. Me. Us.
