Women in Business Champion of the Year
All Our Kin's Executive Director, Jessica Sager, was named the U.S. Small Business Administration 2012 Women in Business Champion of the Year for Connecticut.
The award validates All Our Kin's innovative programs, which train, support, and sustain women as both business owners and educators. We are the only organization in Connecticut--and one of a handful in the country--to address both workforce development and child care. And we demonstrate, here in the United States, what international development experts and policymakers have long known; that investing in women as entrepreneurs and community leaders can have an enormous impact in low-income communities.

Taking Root
This Saturday, All Our Kin is proud to host our seventh annual family child care conference. This year we are offering stimulating and engaging workshops that explore the concept of taking root: early education as a foundation for learning and life. To view the conference brochure, click here.
We look forward to sharing more with you next week.
