Hello!

Praying you are having an incredible summer!  Check out the winner for this week's CJ Great Summer Giveaway!  Also, we're giving away our first new iPad so be sure and read.

Last week we made a mistake in identifying the writer in the article "Rest"  Her picture caption read that she was "Kathy Morales" but she was really "Melanie Morgan"!  It was an oversight on our part and if you didn't catch her article please click here.

You can check out some of the other CJ Great Summer Give Away prizes by clicking here!

Have some rest this summer!
Remember we're praying for you!

God Enough!

... or what activities he would be involved with. I often wonder about what kind of kid Jake would be. Then I ask myself who would I be if Jake were still here with us on earth? I am sure other trials and heartbreak would have led me to a closer walk with the Lord but I know for certain that I would not have seen God's saving light so brightly had it not been so dark. As the darkness lifted by His light, I began to respond like Job, claiming that "no purpose of His can be thwarted."

I can stop wondering why things happen and know that His purposes were achieved in my life.

When we know this, that our purpose is to see and know God, we move from a place of wanting to know "why" to wanting to know "who." Jesus. Then we will know that Jesus, without a doubt, is more than enough for anything we might ever encounter.

Yes, it is a fight that must be fought alone; no one can do it for us. We will have to continue wrestling until the break of eternity. We must keep fighting until He shines His final light on our dark places. In the end, when our tragedy did not trump us, when we stood firm, and we cried out, "I won't let go until you bless this mess!", not only will we truly see God but others will see God in us.

Yes, I walk with a slight limp now, but I continue walking with Him. Yes, I had heard of him by the hearing of the ears, but now I see God. Now, "I look at the world through tears. But I will see things that dry-eyed I could not see."(My paraphrase of Nicholas Wolterstorff "Lament for A Son.")

Don't stop now; don't give up. When it feels as if the tears have so blurred your vision you can't take another step, keep walking with Him. Keep wrestling.

The dawn is near; the sun is rising, and soon you will see things about Him you could not have possibly seen before. Before too long, you will learn and know that everything you have ever learned about our precious LORD is absolutely true and even more real than you ever knew.
