Expect!
Expect

"But as for me, I will watch expectantly for the Lord, I will wait for the God of my salvation.  My God will hear me!" Micah 7:7

Mighty words of encouragement!  Are you "watching expectantly" for God to work on your behalf in this New Year? Do you believe that He will hear you?  I desire to watch and wait with great expectation!  I DO believe He hears ME and will answer!  How about you?

Have you ever been caught in the trap where you can expect good things from God for everyone else but when it comes to your own personal life - you don't expect anything but the worst or the least?  You could end up living in disbelief and hopelessness.  Perhaps, you believe that you don't deserve anything else!  God is the God of your salvation!  He hears your cry and longs to answer the deepest longing of your heart!  He is moving and working on your behalf!  Are you crying out to Him? Do you wait with expectation for Him to work?  Are you watching for the dawning of His new day for your life?  What are you expecting God to do for you in 2012?  What are you expecting to hear from Him this year?  Are you in a place where He could speak or freely act on your behalf?  In order for you to watch and to believe you and I must position ourselves before the God of our salvation in humble and honest submission. He is waiting for us to acknowledge that He is who He says He is and He will do what He says He will do. What do you need to do to live a life of expectation?  Please meet me in the Contagious Joy forums and let's talk about it.....

Reminder from last we spoke.....

We are sooo excited to let you know that Lisa McKay (a.k.a. The Preacher's Wife) will be joining us here at Contagious Joy as we endeavor to just help you out in the journey of being a PW.  She will be sharing her writings with us from time to time and well, we don't know how all of this will flesh out but I'm so excited about this I could just stand up and shout - WOOHOO - PRAISE THE LORD!  I deeply respect and admire this woman of God and just can't believe that she would want to hook up with us!

Lisa will still maintain her blog and site and nothing will change except that she will be pointing you to visit us here at ContagiousJoy  - in a safe, secure environment!  Click on the link below and Lisa (as only she can) explains better than I ever could.......So glad you are joining my crazy world - my friend!

Prayer request! I have a special prayer request.  As of the writing of this mail out - my middle sister is in an intensive care in Joplin, Missouri.  Because of some life choices - she might not survive.  She is stable at the moment but completely alone in her spirit.  She doesn't have clarity about much that is going on around her so I am asking you to pray with me that she might hear the gospel one more time and consciously respond to it.

I would covet your prayers and if any of your Pastor husband's would like to visit her in the hospital please contact me on the contact form for more information.

Standing in the gap and watching expectantly!
