10 Things Every Minister's Wife Needs to Know & What about Forgiveness?

As we come to the end of the Giveaway and our time with Jeana - in my opinion we are dealing with some of the best issues not only for us as Pastor's wives but for us as women.  FORGIVENESS is key to our spiritual growth. Forgiveness for those who have hurts us, betrayed us, wounded us (physically or emotionally), slandered and lied about us or to us.  As hard as it is - We MUST FORGIVE.  Have you been there?  Haven't you had someone come up to you at church one Sunday and be all nice to you while they have just secretly roasted your husband at the dinner table with their best friends?  Haven't there been times when you have had someone that you thought had your back only to find out that they only wanted to gain information from you to use it against you?  Have you ever been betrayed by someone extremely close to you?  Have you ever let yourself (even though unwise) become too transparent with a friend in the church to only have it come back on you. To put it bluntly, "Have you ever been gut punched emotionally?"   What are we to do with all of the emotions that come from these types of issues?  Can we just say, "I forgive..." and then move on without processing the woundedness of our hearts?  Ladies, Jeana shares that it's a process for her.  I have been told that men forgive far easier than we do  as women.  Or do they?  What steps do we need to take?  I would love to hear what you think forgiveness looks like.  Above all else, Matthew 6 speaks plainly about forgiveness and how we should treat it.  Take a look at the video and join me in the forums on www.contagiousjoy4him.com for honest conversation concerning forgiveness.
