Our Mission

Triad Health Project provides emotional and practical support to individuals living with HIV/AIDS, to their loved ones, and to those at risk for HIV/AIDS; implements strategies to educate those at risk and the community about HIV/AIDS; and advocates locally, regionally, and nationally for individuals and groups infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS.

Our Vision
We will stand together for as long as it takes until HIV/AIDS is no more, working together to promote enlightenment, dignity, acceptance, understanding, and love, demonstrating that we are not only enduring this epidemic, but prevailing over it.

A Message from our Executive Director

Addison pic

Monday, April 4th was a wonderful day for everyone who cares about HIV/AIDS in Guilford County.

Why? Because that's the day that the Regional Center for Infectious Disease (RCID) opened to patients. RCID is based on the Patient Centered Model of Care and HIV positive clients will now be able to see their doctor and case manager in the same visit, improving access to care.

The "C" in RCID could easily stand for community or collaboration because without both the new clinic would have remained just a dream.

But with the guidance of Cone Health Foundation and the collaboration of the Moses Cone Hospital System, Central Carolina Health Network, Family Service of the Piedmont, and Triad Health Project, the center is now open on the first floor of the Wendover Medical Center at 301 E. Wendover Ave. in Greensboro.

Two THP case managers will be on site at the clinic Monday through Friday.

"We are creating something absolutely unique in this area by bringing together four different service providers to facilitate patient care," said Dr. Jeffrey Hatcher, medical director for the center and THP board member.

We'll keep you posted on an upcoming Open House at RCID and you can see for yourself a community dream come true.
