Our Mission
Triad Health Project provides emotional and practical support to individuals living with HIV/AIDS, to their loved ones, and to those at risk for HIV/AIDS; implements strategies to educate those at risk and the community about HIV/AIDS; and advocates locally, regionally, and nationally for individuals and groups infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS.
Our Vision
We will stand together for as long as it takes until HIV/AIDS is no more, working together to promote enlightenment, dignity, acceptance, understanding, and love, demonstrating that we are not only enduring this epidemic, but prevailing over it. |

a/perture Cinema to host a special showing of Gen Silent
Sunday, March 13, 2011
8:00PM
a/perture Cinema
311 West Fourth Street
Winston-Salem
What would you do if you were an older adult, disabled, or ill, and the person feeding you put down the spoon and explained that you are going to hell unless you change your sexual orientation. Sound absurd? According to social workers, it's happening every day.
Gen Silent is a new lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender documentary from award-winning director and documentary film maker, Stu Maddux. Admission is free. Donations will be accepted for The Adam Foundation and Holly Haven.

Free, Confidential HIV Testing
Mondays 5-7PM (except holidays)
THP - Greensboro Office
801 Summit Avenue
THP now also provides testing for gonorrhea and chlamydia
Triad Health Project offers free, confidential HIV, gonorrhea, and chlamydia testing in our Greensboro office every Monday evening (except holidays) from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. Results are available within 2-3 weeks from the time of the testing between 5:00PM and 7:00PM on Mondays, or by appointment at the Guilford County Health Department.
In the case of HIV/AIDS, prevention is the only cure. THP's website provides a host of prevention resources, including HIV/AIDS 101, what to expect in the testing process, and understanding your risk for contracting HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases.
For more information about THP's prevention and education programs, contact Rusty Powell, THP's Prevention Coordinator, at rpowell@triadhealthproject.com, or 336.275.1654 x32.

Reflections ~ 25 Years
Back by popular demand, we are sharing another poem from James McNair, a beloved friend of the THP community who passed away in October 2008. This poem was written by James at our Higher Ground Day Center.
