Letter from the President 
Hi and welcome to 2009. Since everyone else in the travel industry is forecasting doom and gloom I am going to avoid the issue. All we can do is continue to put out a quality product at a reasonable price. We believe very strongly in our company and our people and we have what it takes to ride out this storm. (OK I didn't avoid the issue but I think you got the message). As I look back at 2008, I have a lot of great memories and luckily a lot of happy clients. We took over the Getty Museum for a great evening in Los Angeles. We ran an "Amazing Race" through the Magic Kingdom and we saluted the USA on board the USS Midway in San Diego. In the end we ran more individual events than in any other year. As a reward (and a breather) from a busy year, we ended the year with a great 3 day retreat to San Francisco. We relaxed, recreated, went to the spa, ate, drank and traveled on public transportation to stay "green." All in all 2008 was a great year. For 2009 all of our staff is back and busy working away. Each of us may be wearing a few more hats than normal but "Team" has always been part of our name. Many thanks to our staff for being so understanding! Our new website is up and running. A media room will complete the indoor space, replete with a large screen monitor and the highest-quality audio visual system. Walk Outside, to the exterior patio Jacuzzi and pool bar. The outdoor patio also has a functioning BBQ grill for special occasion catering. With an open floor plan and a variety of environments, the venue includes all the elements of a private home, designed to entertain.

HO-HO-HOlidays with The Event Team!
One thing is for certain, there was no shortage of holiday cheer on December 3rd at The Event Team's Holiday Party! We all had a wonderful time mixing and mingling with our favorite FOTETs! (Friends Of The Event Team) at The Marble Room. Thanks to all our wonderful staff and vendors for coming out and celebrating with us! Click here to view a slideshow of the festivities.
Another exciting holiday event was our Annual Winter Retreat. The destination for 2008 was San Francisco, and it was our "greenest" retreat to date! We made a point to take public transportation wherever possible and we took a trip to the newest and greenest museum in the world, the California Academy of Sciences. We also hopped on bikes and pedaled across The Golden Gate Bridge! Great times were had by all, and we've got the pictures to prove it!
