Q&A
What is the difference between Basic Brown and Chocolate Chip ink? And what is Staz-On?
Stampin' Up has three "Basic" ink colours - Basic Black, Brown, and Grey.
Yes, they are waterbased, the same as the other 60+ colours, however, these three are waterproof.
Which means you can stamp and then watercolour your images without the ink running and without the need to heat emboss the ink.
Staz-On is a lethal, fabulous ink that will literally stamp on anything! Glass, fabric, tile, ceramic, and unfortunately, carpet, too. . . . Order your basic inks $13.95 today!

THE STAMPER
I started out with just one stamp and when I bought some more I decided that a shoe box Would make an ideal store.
Then as I added inks and pens, My stamp collection grew So I bought a roomy plastic crate It would last for years, I knew.
Embossing then became my thing With powders and a heat gun, Metallics, tinsels, pearls and clear, I soon had every one.
By now my lovely plastic crate Was spilling everywhere And my glitter glue collection Lay scattered on a chair.
My husband started muttering And said things had to stop, So I bought a huge old wardrobe At the local charity shop.
But after a while, I couldn't shut the door And I put shelves in the spare room To accomodate yet more.
Our house is now for sale, Something larger being sought, By the way, did I show you The latest stamp I bought......
Enjoy!

Dear Stampers,
August was probably the busiest month of my life! But so much fun - two very rewarding events filled with lots of laughs - Stamp Camp and the Stampin' Up! incentive trip to Noosa Heads.
Stamp Camp was a lot of prep work on my end, but once we were there and unpacked, it was just fantastic to kick our shoes off and craft at our leisure. Many thanks to those who attended! I've booked the venue for next year - a bit later in the year as many expressed regrets due to their farming schedules.
And a million thank yous to my customers for doing your bit on helping me acheive the annual Stampin' Up IncentiveTrip. We went to Noosa Heads this year and it was nothing short of fantastic. Read all the details here. Next year's trip is to Hamilton Island - working my little buns off to go!
September's Virtual Class is a set of four FUN birthday cards, designed to be easily replicated so you'll always have a birthday card on hand (or at least a quick template!) You'll be using the Party Hearty set for this project. Scrapbook corner
Journaling Dilemnas . . . .
Click on the photo for the full post.
I really enjoyed the bright fun colours here! And the Circle Circus set is one that I think is really neat, but haven't used nearly enough.
I understand the argument for having your own handwriting on your pages, but also understand that not many of us think our handwriting is nearly as stylish as we'd like it to be.
PLUS, how do you print out your journaling and get it to fit the exact space on the layout anyway?
Couple ideas: Do what I did here and print out your journaling, giving yourself extra spaces between works. Then chop it up with a pair of scissors and adhere as you wish. Very easy and also adds a bit of visual interest.
I do want to include my own handwriting here and there, so I often use hidden tags behind elements of the page. That way, my slanted writing doesn't detract from the photo.
Another neat idea is to have your children do a bit of journaling in their own handwriting. They will love it!

With love and best wishes,
Jacque
