 Stampin' Write® markers
These exclusive dye-based markers by Stampin' Up!® have a small tip for writing and a brush tip for artistic flare!  They come in 48 terrific colors (4 color coordinated sets) and are non-toxic and acid-free!  When you purchase all of the markers as a set, they come in a handy carry case.

Assorted Cardstock (A4)
Acid and Lignin free for both card-making and scrapbooking, our heavy-weight cardstock coordinates with the markers, giving you endless options.

Dilemma
You can only get the case to organize your markers, if you buy the complete set in one order...and what would you do with the markers without the cardstock... honestly, that's really a lot of money to come up with all at once.

Solution
Join the marker/cardstock club!

Get all 48 markers, and...
The case, and...
3 sheets of each of the 48 colors and....
40 sheets of white/vanilla UltraSmooth cardstock and...
                                   A hostess stamp set, and...
$35 in free merchandise!

To join

To join the marker/cardstock club, you must have three buddies (4 total) or be willing to wait until three others sign up independently.

Here's how it works!

The markers cost        $279.95
4 pks Asst Cardstock      69.00
Ultrasmooth Cardstock   15.95
Shipping and handling     18.25
Total                  383.15

divided by 4 = $95.79 per month per club member

Club members take turns "hostessing" workshops and receiving hostess benefits. (You don't really have a workshop in your home, but we do the paperwork as if you had.)  Each person gets one set of markers and one pack of cardstock a month, and the person "hosting" the workshop receives the hostess benefits.

At the end of 4 months everyone has a complete set of markers, a carry case, cardstock to match,  a hostess stamp set, and $35 in free merchandise to keep you and your markers stampin' for hours on end!

Q&A

How do I tie a bow that doesn't go all over the place?

I get asked this ALL the time!  First of all, notice that I do not ever, or very rarely, tie a true "bow".

I usually just tie a very neat knot.  It takes a few times practicing.  Please view my little video tutorial on how to do it.

Embrace Life
Dear Stampers,

My garden is starting to bud, so I think, fingers crossed, that spring is on its way!

Another mark of Spring is the release of the Spring Mini Catalogue!  Just out this month, these delicious products will be available through November 30th.  Email me for your copy or download it here.  Besides great stamp sets, I'm loving the new papers and the new ink!

August is also the month where I am so privileged and lucky to attend the annual Stampin' up! Incentive Trip!  Thank you to all who've made it possible for me to enjoy five days to an all expenses paid trip to Noosa Heads.  Now, I just need to sort out my three daughters . . .. it's a bugger to not have a nana handy!

 Making Your Own Patterned Paper . . . .

Click on the photo for the full post

I fussed and fiddled with this layout for a loooong time and it just didn't seem "right".  At some stage, I realized what I needed was a different print than what was offered in the Tea Party Designer Series Paper pack.

But, of course, it still needed to coordinate.  What to do but make your own!

Lucky for us, stamping makes it supremely easy to make your own "patterned paper" in exactly the colours perfect for your project.

Here, I have stamped and then quickly coloured in images from the Sweet Stems stamp set to make the paper that is behind the upper left hand photo.

I've used the stamp set again to make a matching embellishment in the bottom right hand corner, creating a perfect balance.

So the next time you are stuck for patterned paper, consider creating your own!

Order Sweet Stems stamps here!
With love and best wishes,
Jacque
