As I plan for the new year, I have reviewed customer feedback and what has worked for me and what has not. I have posted on my site a page listing out class and workshop possibilities and my 2009 prices. This list is by no means exhuastive nor rigid. If you are a group with a very small budget, we can scale down the projects to fit your parametres. If you are a very experienced group who wants advanced, involved projects, we can step it up as well. And, if there is a class description not listed that you'd like, I am confident we can work to fit your needs. With a little creativity, anything is possible!
December brings us a big list of stamps and accessories at 20% (see the promotions sections). January and February are Sale-a-bration months, the very best promotions of the entire year! If you are thinking of hosting a workshop or joining my team, THIS is the time to do it for the most free product. (And who doesn't want to get as much free stuff as possible?) How do I use my Whisper White ink pad?
The above sample shows two ways to use your Whisper White craft ink pad, although there are a myriad of other techniques as well.
First, the Whisper White ink pad is different to the Classic dye ink pads in that it is a craft ink or a pigment ink. This means the pad itself is softer and more of a foam texture than the dye inks. This ink also does not dry virutally immediately; it takes a few hours to dry if it not heat embossed (or just heated without embossing).
The effect is that it is an opaque ink, closer to a paint than the dye inks, which makes it perfect for stamping on darker cardstock, as above. The Season's Greetings stamped above is not embossed in white; it is just the Whisper White ink stamped directly on the card. (The Many Merry Messages set and the Snow Fluuries set are 20% off this month).
Second, I have used a stampin' sponge and gone around the edges of the card with the Whisper White ink. It's common to use a darker ink or tone on tone for sponging edges, so this technique will give you another look. Do it with a heavy hand for a frosty window appearance or with a light hand to achieve more like a faded edges look.
