Barry Davies to Retire
The parish family will be saying farewell to Barry Davies, our organist and Music Director. We have enjoyed his lovely music and choir direction for over a year and we will regret to see him leave. In celebration of his ministry with us, we will have a Farewell Brunch after the 8:00 am service on July 29, 2012 which will also be his last day with us. Stewardship Workshop
Coming up: Saturday, August 18, 2012, at the Cathedral of St. Philip in Atlanta.
The Diocese of Atlanta's Commission on Stewardship will offer a workshop for clergy and lay leaders with responsibility for planning and leading the stewardship effort in their parishes from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, at the Cathedral of St. Philip, in Room 382.
Workshop topics will be scripture-based and practical and are designed to help leaders evaluate the effectiveness of their present stewardship efforts. Available programs and methods for organizing and targeting stewardship activities throughout the church year will be discussed. Stewardship Commission resources will be highlighted.
