YOUR ARE INVITED!

Father Paul's 60th birthday is Feb. 25. To celebrate, the parish family is invited to attend his birthday party after the 10:30 am service on Sunday, Feb. 26. Visit a Benedictine monastery March 3

The Ecumenical Lay Associates of the Monastery of the Holy Spirit, Conyers, will sponsor an opportunity to "Come and See" the monastery from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 3. The group welcomes "all who seek a contemplative path and community, individuals who seek a Benedictine rhythm in daily life, or those who simply seek a quiet place to reflect during the Lenten season," said Michael Thompson, one of the lay associates and also a member of the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour, Atlanta. A Prayer for Our Candidates for the 10th Bishop

of the Diocese of Atlanta and Our Nominating Committee

O God, we lift up each candidate for 10th Bishop of the Diocese of Atlanta as well as each member of the Nominating Committee for your blessing. Open all hearts and minds to the guidance of your Holy Spirit.

For the candidates ...

Be with them in their waiting and wondering.

Guide them in their ongoing discernment.

Give them courage to seek and do your will.

For those on the Nominating Committee ...

Grant them wisdom in their discernment.

Calm their anxious moments with the

reassurance of your presence.

Give them courage to seek and do your will.

Uphold us all by your grace and power. Give us faith in you and trust in one another and ourselves.

We pray all of this and more in the name of Your Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, Amen.

- The Rev. Deborah Silver, nominating committee chaplain
