Prayer for the next Bishop of the Diocese of Atlanta
Almighty God, giver of every good gift: Look graciously on your church, and so guide the minds of those who shall choose a bishop for this diocese, that we may receive a faithful pastor, who will care for your people and equip us for our ministries; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Greetings!
Please be our guest... Worship in Lent: Thursday Evenings at 6:30 pm A light meal (soup, salad and bread) will be offered in the parish hall immediately following Evening Prayer, with opportunity for friendship and conversation. What does it mean to and receive welcome? What can we learn from being hospitable and why is it risky? In this five week study, I will help you to understand why hospitality is basic to our lives as Christians. Week3: Risking Welcome March 31 at 6:30 pm in Hensler Hall Sincerely, Father Dr. Paul A. Elliott |

The ICS annual fundraiser will be taking place on April 16th.The theme of the evening is the Japanese story of Sadoko and The Story of 1,000 Cranes. In this true story, Sadoko, a victim of cancer caused by the atom bomb's aftermath, tries to fold 1,000 orgami cranes in order to fulfill the legend that these 1,000 cranes will carry away her sickness. She was able to fold 600+ before she died. Friends and family completed the 1,000, all of which were buried with her remains. The students at ICS are folding 1,000 cranes to decorate the Carter Center for this fundraiser. If you happen to have any extra scrapbook paper or similar colored paper, please consider donating it to ICS care of Sue Gelting. Any decorative paper can be put in the ICS box at the church office and I will pick it up every week. Thank you for considering supporting this student project.
