Greetings!
The parish family of St. Michael & All Angels gave up Helen Dyer to be with God today. Please continue to prayer for the repose of Helen's soul. The obituary from the Atlanta Journal Counstitution was printed yesterday, February 17th and reads as follows:  Helen Y. Dyer, loving wife and mother, educator and master gardener passed away February 15, 2011 at Emory Eastside Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Roy E. Dyer, Jr.; sons, Roy E. Dyer, III and Thomas Young Dyer; daughters in law, Dedra Dyer and Nancy Dyer; and grandson, Luke Dyer; sisters, Wanda Bagwell and Melba Adams; and brother, Thomas Young. The funeral service was Friday, February 18th at 11 o'clock in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with the Reverend Dr. Paul Elliott officiating. Interment followed at Westview Cemetery.
Helen has been a member of the parish since 1968, 42 years. She spent many hours beautifying the grounds. If you would like to give to the Memorial Fund of St. Michael & All Angels in memory of Helen please make your generous donation to this fund which is used for the Buildings & Grounds of the church.

The Diocesan DOK Annual Assembly at the Cathedral
February 19, 2011
The Mary Sandra Chapter will be attending the meeting and Eucharist Service at the Cathedral from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. All women of St. Michael & All Angels who are interested in knowing more about the DOK are invited to attend. The Speaker will be Metro Smith Griffin, Province IV President. If you need a sign up form, please contact Mary Speights, Vice President, at 770-883-7294.
The Daughters of the King will have the monthly meeting February 20th at 12:00 pm in the Titus House. A light lunch Development will be provided along with a program "Stages of Faith " by the Reverend Lynnsay Buehler. The group will attend the 2:00 pm Rite II in Spanish service in the Sanctuary.

The date for our next Ministry Fair will be Saturday, March 12, 2011. All member of churches in the Diocese of Atlanta are invited to attend the Great Gathering and workshops to strengthen the ministries and spiritual lives of the congregations.
