A Site For Women

Kansas City's best resource guide for women with rewards, events, and reviews of local businesses.
Greetings!
Kanas City Search Engine OptimizationFinally! LOL!!!!

I don't know about all of you, but I am so enjoying these 50 degree days in Kansas City.

Now the question is, why do you really think this alligator guy is looking forward to the hoards of college students heading his way?

Snack time maybe?

My Million Dollar Web Site?

One of the things I try to do when working with my clients is to to help them set realistic business expectations for their Websites. I typically use the phrase, spend more money getting people to your Website, then you do on your Website.

A Website by itself (unless it's an ecommerce site) does not actively generate vast amounts of income for a company. What it can do though, if it's built right, is compel potential customers to get in touch with you. You still have to sell them on your product or service once they get in touch with you.

When building or redesigning a Company's Website, ask yourself why exactly is this Website out there and what do I want to accomplish with it? Write all your answers down, and then rank them according to how much revenue you'll get from action on those areas.

Then, look at your Website. Based on what you want from the questions above, how compelling are the action messages on your Website to get what you want? Do you even ask them to contact you in relation to the high revenue generating items?

For many of us with tight budgets, asking these simple questions, ranking the answers in relation to revenue, then looking at the compelling statements on the site, can greatly increase the effectiveness of your Website for your company.
Does Your Website Support Your Sales Staff?

They're out there on a daily basis, toiling the phones, beating the street, flying the skies, meeting and greeting, chasing the buck, etc, etc.

How well does your Website support sales representatives needs? Have you asked them lately what do they think of your Company site? One simple thing like a photo gallery of updated products may be just the thing they need to turn that next big deal.

Or, how about a coupon they can direct potential clients to during the sales conversation that's just the thing needed to push them past candidate client to signed client.

As business owners we're always concerned first about our company's image. Ask your sales reps if they are proud or embarrassed to send people to your Website.

Featured WebSite Of The Month Lawn and Landscape Solutions
This was a fun Website to build. Met up with them at a networking event at the end of January, and by the middle of February the site was completed. All the components of a great Website are incorporated, as well as a strong brand compliment. http://www.lawnandlandscapesolutions.com/
