Do YouTube Videos Help Your Site With Google? |
 I love having article titles with a yes/no type question, because it can make the article really short. Do YouTube videos help your businesses site with Google? The answer is Yes! Ok, I'm done. Next article!
LOL! Ok, maybe I should write a little bit about how it helps.
Some of Google's favorite things they use to determine where they rank you are:
- How many links do you have back to your Website?
- How large/well known is the site that has the link to your Website on it?
- How relevant to your site is the link location's site?
- How descriptive is your link on that other site?
Believe it or not, YouTube is the second most used search engine on the Internet. Google is number 1, YouTube is number 2. More people search on YouTube than Yahoo, Bing and Ask combined.
So if you want to help increase your Website's visibility to Google, you may want to consider putting a properly search engine optimized relevant video on YouTube.
FYI - The Video content itself is not visible to Google. It's all in how you name, label, index and tag the your video's on YouTube. |
This is such a true story. CNN ran a story last week about these $29.99 dog collar tags that allow you to get Tweets from your pet. Only in America would someone come up with something like a device that allows you to get pre-written Tweets based on what your dog is currently doing.
