I Have a Website! How Come No One Calls Me?? |
Ok, so maybe your business seems to be a bit "off" lately. You know people still need what you're offering, and you know you're better than the competition. You might also know that there's ton's of stuff you can do to your Website to see how many hits and what pages people are visiting on your site. So you know people are coming to your site. Why aren't they calling me? What's the deal? I know I took a shower this morning? LOL!! Ok, so maybe hygiene is not the issue. Maybe you haven't done what's necessary to your site to tell people to call. You need to insight action on their part! You need to tell them to call or give them a reason to call beyond just telling them about your product or service. Here's a simple question. Look at your home page of your Website. Where's your phone number? Is it on the contact us page? Or in tiny type at the bottom of the page? If you want more calls, make the number big, bold and preferably at the top of every page. (Email address as well.)
Hey, and since I'm selfish (not really) but since I'm selfish, what am I going to get (besides your product or service) for calling or emailing you? Not only is giving something away a great call to action message on your Website, it offers you the best best way to measure the results of your advertising. What you're offering or giving away should be unique to your Website. That way, when the people do call, you know exactly that they came from the Website. |
