About Web Links

Web Links, not sausage links, are a great way to get business to your Web site. How many clients, customers do you know that have a Web site? Offer to put a link to their Web site on your Web site if they will put a link to your Web site on their Web site. Doing this will increase your Google rankings.

Ask them to please put on "Their" Web site a link to your site that is not just a picture link or your Web site address. Ask them to please put a sentence that describes your company with your Web site link. You will be surprised how much doing this helps your Web site. Remember they will more willingly do this if you have a links page on your site and can return the favor.

Important Note - - Do not, do not go out and find sites that will mass post your Web site link. If you care about your Google and Yahoo rankings you will hurt your rankings by doing this.
Google Tips and Tricks

Google does not disclose their search programming algorithms. What this means is they don't let people know exactly how they decide who gets top ranking. But, Google will tell you what is important to them and what they think is bad Web site Design.

Here is Google's biggest biggest published piece of advice for what they feel is a good Web site. They say, a good Web site is one that has well written content and your company does exactly what you say you do. In other words, they will give you top billing if they feel your company actually does what your Web site says you do.

When someone comes to your home page because you say you're a chiropractor, when they get to the home page they can I immediately determine and trust that you are a quality chiropractor dedicated to helping people with your services.

If you have a prescription drug service and happened to say on your home page that you support chiropractors, you are not going to show up in a Google search for Chiropractors. Google promises their customers that they will top list companies that do what they say they do and have quality written content on their sites in support of their actual business services or products.
