Greetings!
Isn't Summer great? The kids are out of school, the weather is fine and you have all this wonderful free time on your hands. Not!!!!!!!! Actually, the kids are bored, it's way too hot and humid and time seems to be the last thing you have a lot of. Unfortunately, this newsletter doesn't entertain the kids and it won't lower the heat and humidity, but hopefully somewhere along the way, it helps you get a little chuckle and provides something to help your business that free's up more of your time. Hopefully!!
I missed it by **That* much!!!

I loved that old saying from the Get Smart TV series. I missed it by *that* much! Which then leads us down the road of having to tell our bosses..."Sorry about that chief!" Of course then come the excuses that start with..."Would you believe......???"

Ask yourself, do you ever hear the above phrases from your sales reps? I think my overall Web site point (yes there is a point:-). My overall Web site point is what do your sales reps think about the company's Web site? They are the one's that are out there selling the company. When they don't have time to talk to people they are referring them to the Web site for more information. Typically the owner of the company controls the Web site, but it's the sales reps that really need it to look good and sell the company for them. Does your Web site make their job easier? Is it outdated or doesn't have current information? Ask your sales reps what they would do to make it a better sales tool.

But Max that sounds sooo dangerous. I know 99, but danger is my middle name, or would you believe....

Newsletters Work!

Constant Contact or AWeber. Two of the simplest ways to create and send newsletters. For around $15 a month you can send out a newsletter like the one you're currently reading to around 500 people. Both companies offer: The ability for people to sign up on your Web site. The ability to choose from dozens of design templates. A database in which to set up your mailing lists. And, an important feature on each newsletter, the ability for people to opt out of receiving your newsletter. It makes people feel good to have that control, and these tools make it a seamless administrative task for you the sender. With these two tools you can go in and see who's recently joined your newsletter from your Web site as well as see who's opted out. You can see which links within your newsletter they've clicked on and see who's opened your newsletter. They're both great tools for staying in touch with your customers on a regular basis. As always though, be sure the newsletter provides value and is not just a monthly sales message. www.constantcontact.com or www.aweber.com
Featured Web Site Lee Associates

http://www.ottoservicekc.com is the featured site of the month. Why? Because it's incorporates message simplicity and color combinations which match and emphasize the integrity of the company. The site is up and running but still requires a little bit more content and personalized imagery.
