Street Project Update
 
City of Eau Claire Transportation Engineer Ross Spitz and Deputy City Engineer Doug Derks gave a street project update at a meeting on Tuesday. They say repairs continue on Graham Avenue with two-way conversion for Graham and Barstow planned for mid-August. They will be contacting the delivery people of the 125 businesses in the area in an effort to eliminate congestion in the construction areas in the months to come. The next Street Project Update Meeting is scheduled for July 24, at 7:30 a.m., at the Firehouse at 202 Gibson Street. Sign-Up for the Parade of Nations
and World Stage!
The International Fall festival is fast approaching and set for Saturday, September 15th this year! The annual event is a celebration of the Chippewa Valley's cultural heritage, and provides the community an opportunity to learn about the people and cultures that make up West Central Wisconsin. If you are interested in participating or performing in the Parade of Nations or on the World Stage this year check out our website for more information and an application. World Stage entry forms must be returned by August 13th and Parade of Nations entry forms must be returned by August 30th. |
