Greetings!

It's because of friends of Somebody Cares like yourself, that together we are making a difference in ways only the Lord can reveal.  With overwhelming needs in Haiti and other areas of our ministry, we often wonder if we are even making a difference.  I was reminded by my friend, Mike May, about "The Starfish" story; "A beach was covered with thousands of starfish that had been washed ashore and were now baking in the sun.  A boy was found on the beach tossing starfish, one by one, back into the ocean.  He was approached and told that his efforts would never save them all and what he was doing wouldn't matter.  The boy's response as he threw another starfish back into the safety of the water was, "It matters to this one"."
 Haitian Child Feeding Infant
A sister gives her baby brother formula provided by SCI.
Both children were malnutrished. SCI also provided
protein drink and vitamins for older children.

With so many needs, it may seem too overwhelming and that our little bit doesn't really make a difference, but may we be reminded that it does make a difference to those we do help. Below are a couple of Youtube video clips from this past week in Haiti to remind us of this.  Your friendship, partnership and support is making a difference!

And your continued support will help us provide on-going assistance as Haiti is rebuilt! A gift of $100, $50, $25 or even $10 can make a difference in their lives! Donate now!

Thank you for caring,
