Greetings!
Find your agent, meet your publisher, and hobnob with industry professionals at FWA's 10th annual conference.

The Best Way to Find Your Agent
What's the best way to find your agent or publisher? Come to the conference! You'll rub elbows with industry insiders, including eight literary agents and eleven publishers. The big chance you're been dreaming of may be only an appointment away. Check the FWA blog for tips on registering, as well as for tips on pitching your work. (BTW, please be respectful and don't corner faculty in the coffee shop or ladies' room to make your pitch. The faculty are primed to focus on your work at the interviews, which offer your best chance for a favorable reception.) |
Bed, Breakfast & a Balloon Ride
How does bed, breakfast, and a balloon ride sound? Or a free 2012 conference registration? Those are just two of the Grand Door Prizes that will be raffled during the conference on Sunday. The entire Sunday lineup is exciting, including the closing keynote, the workshops, double door-prize tickets, a special joint Exhibitor Raffle worth hundreds of dollars, and-oh yeah-the kickoff for Collection #4. Let's Eat
Finding your agent, meeting your publisher, and getting the skinny on the industry sure can work up an appetite. Good thing we have Marriott's award-winning chef to keep us fortified.
And there's more to mealtimes than chowing down. We'll also have our conference orientation, important announcements, and the keynote address, among other things. And let's not forget Saturday's Banquet when the 2011 RPLA winners will be announced for the first time. All meals are paid for as part of the conference fee. More...
