Get Your Foot in the Door!
You already know that we'll have a bazillion agents and publishers coming to the conference in October (okay, a slight exaggeration....), but did you know that for a small fee, you can make appointments with them, one on one? Here's who's coming and what they're looking for.
Individual interviews aren't limited to agents and publishers, either. You may schedule a session with any member of the faculty. Here's the whole rundown, complete with credentials.

 Speaking of interviews, if you'd like to rub elbows with an Anthony Award Nominee (and maybe, by then, a winner), you might want to schedule an appointment with Chantelle Aimee Osman, a multi-year FWA faculty member whose Sirens of Suspense blog has been nominated for the prestigious Anthony Award. Don't Forget the
Silent Auction
Well of course we attend the conference to advance our careers, but it doesn't hurt to multi-task.
This year, FWA's sister organization, the Florida Writers Foundation, is sponsoring another Silent Auction during the FWA conference, and this one promises to be the best ever.
